Position: MRI Technologist (Night Shift)

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Performs MRI imaging procedures, assists radiologists in special procedures such as biopsies, maintains examination records, and documents patient clinical history. Performs darkroom, clerical, and transport functions, participates in standby call, and provides basic patient care within scope of practice to departmental standards. Supports the Radiology Department as needed, adhering to hospital compliance, regulatory, and accreditation standards.

Schedule: 8:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Shift: Nights

Location: AdventHealth Apopka

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs MRI imaging procedures.
2. Maintains records of examinations.
3. Obtains and documents patient clinical history, explains procedures.
4. Positions patients and equipment; selects technical factors to produce quality images.
5. Sends images to QC station, PACS, and archives images.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Must be a graduate of an approved A.R.R.T. program with current A.R.R.T. registration and a state license in Radiography.
