Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center in Southlake, TX is seeking a Multi-Modality MRI Technologist to perform routine and interventional MRI imaging, CT imaging, and diagnostic/fluoroscopic x-ray exams. The role supports a multidisciplinary team including Radiologists and nurses, with venipuncture and sedation support as needed.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Radiologic Technologist Program, ARRT CT/MR/R certification, BLS, and Texas certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT CT, MR, and/or R certification required.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Minimum 1 year work experience in imaging.
• If MR/R; must obtain ARRT CT license within 1 year of orientation.

Your Job:
In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Multi-Modality MRI Technologist position is to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging, CT imaging, and diagnostic/fluoroscopic x-ray exams. In addition, he/she performs venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT ( CT, MR, R )
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• Or ARRT (MR, R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (CT) license within 1 year of completing orientation
