Job summary

Methodist Southlake Medical Center seeks a Multi-Modality MRI Technologist to perform MRI, CT, and diagnostic x-ray exams. The role includes venipuncture and assisting Radiologists and nurses with sedation as needed.

The position requires ARRT MR/R certification, CT licensing within 1 year, and a Radiologic Technologist program background. A minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current ARRT certification (CT, MR, R) and Texas Department of State Health certification.
• 1 year of work experience required or ARRT MR/R; CT license within 1 year of orientation.

Job Description

In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Multi-Modality MRI Technologist position is to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging, CT imaging, and diagnostic/fluoroscopic x-ray exams. In addition, he/she performs venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification - ARRT ( CT, MR, R )
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• Or ARRT (MR, R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (CT) license within 1 year of completing orientation
