Job summary

Children's Hospital of Richmond is seeking an MRI Technologist II to perform MRI imaging exams in a busy pediatric and adult care setting in Richmond, VA. You will collaborate with licensed practitioners, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging records.

A sign-on bonus is offered for qualified applicants joining by the specified date. Required education includes JRC Accredited Radiologic Technology or JRCNMT accredited program with ARRT-MRI eligibility within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a JRC Accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by ARRT.
• ARRT-MRI certification eligibility within 24 months for new hires; MR certification timely for ongoing employment.
• Experience in MRI procedures and safety protocols in a clinical imaging setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging exams and assist licensed practitioners as needed.
• Apply ALARA principles and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Prepare patients, document orders, and maintain imaging records per policy.
• Educate and mentor students/learners in the Radiology environment.
