Job summary

Novant Health is seeking an MRI Technologist II Acute to join our REMARKABLE acute care team. The role focuses on preparing patients and safely operating MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in acute settings.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT MR certification with a 2-year associate degree, and have at least one year of MR experience. The schedule features 36 hours/week (FT WEEKENDER) Fri/Sat/Sun 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, in Charlotte, NC with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT MR certification and state license, required within 6 months of hire; life support training per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic MR procedures; prepare patients and operate MR equipment.
• Perform MR scans in acute settings including inpatients, outpatients, ED and OR.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while ensuring high-quality imaging.
