Job summary

Novant Health Matthews Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist II Acute to join our REMARKABLE acute care team. Schedule includes 24 hours/week on Saturdays and Sundays, with option for 7am-7:30pm or 3rd shift up to 36 hours.

The role requires ARRT MR certification (registered within 6 months of hire), plus at least 1 year MR experience preferred. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of MR experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification (required): ARRT MR registration within 6 months of hire; applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, analytical ability, basic computer skills, and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in the acute setting.
• Responsible for inpatient, outpatient, the emergency department and operating room procedures.
