Job summary

Metro MRI Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate high-field 3T and 1.5T scanners at flexible locations within a 15‑mile radius of the Quad‑City area. Evening hours may include occasional Saturdays, with on‑call readiness within 45 minutes.

Preferred ARRT or ARMRIT registry, or the expectation to obtain within 1 year. 1–3 years of MRI tech experience and strong knowledge of anatomy and MRI physics are desired. BLS and IV skills are required for patient care.

• 1–3 years of MRI tech experience preferred
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• Knowledge of MRI physics and imaging principles
• BLS and IV skills
• Able to respond to on‑call locations within 45 minutes

Metro MRI Center has provided affordable Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services to the Quad City area (Moline, Rock Island, Davenport, and Bettendorf) and the surrounding communities since 1990. Following the opening of its site in Moline with a high-field MRI scanner, Metro began a new era of diagnostic services in its community, offering the highest level in quality care using the most advanced imaging technology available. Position Summary:

• Working on high field 3T and 1.5T Scanners
• Flex locations within a 15 mile radius
• Evening Hours will vary and may have occasional rotations of Saturdays 7:00a-3:30p CST

Desired Professional Skills and Experience:

• Advanced MR Registry preferred (ARRT or ARMRIT) or must obtain within 1 year of hire, although preferred 1-3 years of experience as MRI Tech
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• Knowledge of Principles and Physics of Magnetic Resonance Imaging
• BLS and IV Skills
• Able to respond to on-call locations within 45 minutes

Compensation:

The hourly range for this position is $32.98-$49.47.
