Job summary

ProMedica Hickman Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging that informs patient care. You will select proper technical factors based on procedure, patient age, size and health status, ensuring safety and comfort throughout exams.

You must demonstrate knowledge to identify educational needs, obtain a patient history, and use plain language when explaining procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• ARRT registration required or registry eligible within one year of hire.
• Current CPR certification.

Job Summary:

MRI Technologists make a significant difference in a patient's care. Delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging allows providers to make informed decisions regarding patient treatment and management.

In this role, you will select proper technical factors based on procedure, diagnosis, age, size, weight and anatomical differences and general health status of patients. You must demonstrate the knowledge to identify educational needs, obtain a patient's history, and use easily understood terminology for explaining procedures and care to patients.

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be registered by the ARRT. If registry eligible, must pass registry within one year of accepting the position.
