Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will interact with patients and health professionals to ensure patient safety and accurate results.

The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, a 15% shift differential, and a Monday–Friday evening schedule (2:30 PM–11:00 PM).

Qualifications

• Associate degree ARRT-recognized or JRCERT-accredited program required.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by ARRT required.
• Active Kentucky licensure preferred.
• Two years MRI experience preferred.
• BLS preferred; required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Interact with patients, physicians and staff to ensure safety and accuracy.

Job Description:

Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of patients for medical interpretation. Interact directly with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging studies and patient safety.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required, or higher.

• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy preferred.

• Two years of experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or medical imagining facility preferred.

• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire
