Job summary

Baptist Health in Elizabethtown, KY seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation. You will interact with patients and clinicians to ensure safety and accuracy, working Monday–Friday 2:30 PM–11:00 PM with a 15% shift differential.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates. Requirements include ARRT-recognized education and ARRT registration or eligibility, plus BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree ARRT-recognized program required or military training equivalent (JRCERT-aligned)
• Registered or Registry Eligible by ARRT required
• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire
• Active Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging licensure preferred
• Two years MRI experience in hospital/medical imaging preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Interact with patients, physicians, and healthcare team to ensure safety and accuracy of imaging studies

Job Description

Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of patients for medical interpretation. Interact directly with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging studies and patient safety.

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required, or higher.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required.
• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy preferred.
• Two years of experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred.
