Job summary

UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton, NC seeks an MRI Technician Aide to join our imaging team. The role supports MRI technologists and requires comfort working around strong magnetic fields, with three 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm.

Current CPR certification is required; Allied Health experience is preferred, and those without may complete a medical terminology course or obtain Imaging Sciences Assistant Certification. Generous tuition reimbursement offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operation of basic computer applications and training on image management systems used for MRI exams.
• Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association is required.
• Allied Health Experience is preferred; if none, complete a medical terminology course or obtain Imaging Sciences Assistant Certification.
• Tuition reimbursement and assistance programs are offered.
