Job summary

The CORE Institute is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to support high-quality patient imaging and care within a clinical setting. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and team collaboration to ensure efficient MRI services and patient comfort.

Responsibilities include maintaining imaging proficiency, adhering to safety policies, and assisting with equipment setup and administrative tasks, while supporting patients through the MRI process in a busy clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Radiographer certification preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an MRI Tech; 2 years medical assistant or imaging assistant.
• Must be able to safely enter and work in MRI Zones III and IV per MRI safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of human anatomy.
• IV experience preferred

• Maintains patient care, comfort, and safety during transport to and from the MRI coach and exam.
• Maintains technical competency through continued education.
• Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with facility policies.
• May assist with setup and tear down of equipment following SMS and manufacturers' guidelines.
• Maintains a clean environment inside and outside of the facility.
• Completes all necessary administrative tasks.
• Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Complies with all safety policies and regulations.
• Performs additional duties as required.

Requirements:

Must be able to safely enter and work in MRI Zones III and IV in accordance with MRI safety guidelines.

• Knowledge of human anatomy.
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
• IV experience preferred
• The MRI environment includes strong magnetic fields that may pose safety risks for individuals with certain metallic objects or devices.
