Job summary

UH MR Imaging in Ohio is seeking an MRI technologist to perform examinations that create detailed images for diagnostic purposes. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat conditions while delivering compassionate care and a positive patient experience.

The role includes operating MRI equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and providing patient-centered care across all ages.

• Performs MRI scans as directed by radiologist, and, once orientation and training are completed, independently conducts scans if ARRT-registered.
• Patient care during visit to MRI.
• Knowledge of MRI equipment and safety in MRI environment.

• Clear knowledge of modality specific equipment, computers, PACS, EMR and RIS.
• Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including MR scanners, power injectors, and various computers.

• Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including MR scanners, power injectors, and various computers. Must demonstrate effective organizational, written, and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Ability to perform procedures specific to the area. Answers phones and arranges schedule for in-patient request Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and coworkers
