Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in the Southern Indiana/Louisville area seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams in a full-time role with a rotating schedule, including every 4th or 5th Saturday. The position requires AMA-approved Radiologic Technology training, ARRT MRI (or ARMRIT MRI) and certification within 12 months, plus BLS for healthcare providers.

Experience in MRI operations is required, with competitive salaries and strong education opportunities within a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program with an associate degree or an accredited two-year radiology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and MRI (preferred) or ARMRIT in MRI.
• MRI certification within twelve months of hire; BLS for healthcare provider required.
• One year of experience in MRI operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams with attention to safety and accuracy.
• Maintain imaging equipment and patient records.
• Provide patient care and education during MRI procedures.
• Collaborate with Radiology team in Southern Indiana/Louisville area.
