Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MR imaging per procedures, ensuring accuracy and safety. You will access patient information, process and document exams, and support the clinical team in a fast-paced imaging department.

Required ARMRIT or ARRT(MR), current BCLS, and ARRT Radiologic Technology program or MRI course completion. Two years' MRI experience preferred with solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and remain current.
• Must be a graduate of a ARRT approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI course.
• At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The MRI Technologist performs all aspects of MR imaging according to established procedures and policies.
• Follows MRI safety precautions and regulatory guidelines; maintains professional standards.
• Processes images, ensures correct image selection, accurate billing and file documentation.
• Records information related to exams into the department computer system and supports the clinical team.

• Location: 333 Madison St, Joliet IL

Responsibilities

The MRI Technologist is responsible for the performance of all aspects of MR imaging, accurately and in accordance with established procedures and policies in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in patients of all groups. Follows all regulatory guidelines and MRI safety precautions. Maintains professional standards of conduct an ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations. Contributes to total patient care by accessing pertinent patient information, processes images, assures correct images, accurate billing and file documentation, records information related to exams into department computer system. Performs other activities in support of clinical team members when not engaged in imaging activities.

• ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and remain current.
