Job summary

Grace Federal Solutions is seeking an MRI Tech in Columbia, SC. The role involves performing MRI procedures with emphasis on patient safety and outcomes, including contrast administration and IV starts. Travel between sites is required, with call/floating as needed.

The position requires ARRT MR, ARRT(R)(CT), BLS, and a SCQRSA license, plus 1 year of field experience and Epic charting experience. Flu vaccine is mandatory with no exemptions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the field.

• Required certifications: ARRT, ARRT MR, ARRT(R)(CT), BLS.
• Must have active SCQRSA license.
• Teaching Hospital Experience preferred but not required.
• Community Hospital Experience preferred but not required.
• Trauma Level I & II Experience preferred but not required.
• Special Equipment Required: GE or Siemens
• Travel experience preferred.
• Float required.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures using MRI while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.
• Assist with contrast administration and IV starts as needed.
• Operate imaging equipment (GE, Siemens) and PACS for image capture and review.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and maintain patient safety across settings.
• Travel to different sites as required and provide call/floating coverage.

Role Overview: This role involves performing procedures using imaging modalities while ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience required in the field.

Required Clinical Skills:

• Proficient in adult acute care and outpatient settings, with competency across all age groups (neonate through older adult)
• Imaging: Chest, abdomen, pelvis, head (all with and without contrast), musculoskeletal trauma, and spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
• Contrast media preparation/administration, starting peripheral IVs
• Isolation precautions, equipment experience includes GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS

Schedule:

• Shift hours: Sat / Sun / Mon 7am to 7:30pm.
• Required Call/Floating if needed.
