Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station in College Station, TX is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a full-time role with flexible weekday schedules and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Choose from 3×12s, 4×10s or 5×8s, with Monday–Friday shifts and optional call.

You will perform MRI procedures, ensure patient comfort with AIDET, maintain safety, and collaborate across imaging, radiology, engineering and nursing teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited MRI or Radiologic Technology program preferred.
• Less than one year of hospital MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures according to protocols and physician orders.
• Produce clear diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain MRI safety and infection control standards.
• Prepare and position patients for optimal imaging results.

What You’ll Do

• Perform high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Produce clear, accurate diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Utilize AIDET communication to ensure patients feel informed, safe, and comfortable.
• Prepare and position patients while adjusting equipment settings for optimal imaging results.
• Maintain strict compliance with MRI safety, infection control, and patient protection standards.
• Assist with invasive and multimodality procedures using proper sterile techniques.
• Maintain MRI equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, physicists, radiologists, and nursing staff to support quality imaging services.
• Verify patient documentation, including requisitions, history, and safety screenings.
• Maintain accurate imaging records in PACS and EMR systems.
• Assist with inventory management and workflow improvement initiatives.
• Participate in call coverage, if required.
