Position Overview
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced and motivated MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station. What You’ll Do
- Perform high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Produce clear, accurate diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
- Utilize AIDET communication to ensure patients feel informed, safe, and comfortable.
- Prepare and position patients while adjusting equipment settings for optimal imaging results.
- Maintain strict compliance with MRI safety, infection control, and patient protection standards.
- Assist with invasive and multimodality procedures using proper sterile techniques.
- Maintain MRI equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers, physicists, radiologists, and nursing staff to support quality imaging services.
- Verify patient documentation, including requisitions, history, and safety screenings.
- Maintain accurate imaging records in PACS and EMR systems.
- Assist with inventory management and workflow improvement initiatives.
- Participate in call coverage, if required.

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited MRI or Radiologic Technology program preferred
Experience
- Less than one year of experience required
- Hospital MRI experience preferred
Certification / Licensure
- One of the following required:
- ARRT (MR) – Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- ARRT (R) – Radiography
- ARMRIT – American Registry of MRI Technologists
- Texas Medical Board (MRT) License (as applicable)
- BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
