Get to Know Your Team:

Hillcrest Hospital Claremore offers a variety of services for all ages and in a location convenient for Claremore, Oklahoma residents. The hospital is a 49-bed acute care medical center, offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology, and surgery.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating all routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently.
• Maintain a high standard of imaging and positioning to acquire a quality scan.
• Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
• Must be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluid.
• Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
• Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the scan.
• Evaluate MR images for technical quality, exposure, and transmit to PACS.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Technical or Associate’s radiography degree
• Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
  • If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment.
• Active BLS certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 1-year of MRI Tech experience
• Advanced certification in MRI
