Job summary

SINAPSE - Scottish Imaging Network in Edinburgh invites applications for a Superintendent Radiographer to lead MRI research imaging projects and oversee the radiographic service for the Edinburgh Imaging research MRI facilities at the RIE and WGH sites.

The post holder will help design, set up, support and close out imaging studies funded by academic and commercial sources, while delivering NHS clinical services when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading MRI imaging projects and teams.
• Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and clinical governance.
• Ability to manage research imaging studies and NHS service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MRI radiography service across Edinburgh Imaging facilities.
• Oversee design, set-up, support and close-out of imaging studies funded by academia or industry.
• Deliver NHS clinical services when using Edinburgh Imaging MRI facilities and provide training.
