Job summary

Philips Healthcare in Latham, NY, is seeking a Service Innovation Engineer to lead serviceability improvements for superconducting MRI magnets. You will drive technical investigations and multi‑functional project execution to boost equipment performance and field service margins.

You will collaborate with colleagues across engineering, quality, product development and service operations to implement practical solutions, support new product introductions, and share knowledge across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting field service operations or new product development, preferably with MRI magnets.
• Experience as an FSE/MPM related to magnets is highly relevant and preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics or biomedical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead service innovation initiatives for superconducting MRI magnets, improving serviceability and field service outcomes.
• Collaborate with field service, engineering, quality, product development and service operations to evaluate concepts and implement solutions.
• Support Modified Launch Design and new product introduction activities, including service requirements, verification & validation planning, test design, and BOM considerations.
