Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You will perform assessments, deliver skilled procedures, and implement patient care plans within an interdisciplinary team.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in Arizona (AZ).
• American Heart Association BLS Card or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organize and prioritize patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrate accountability for own ethical behavior, and support ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Advocate for patients' needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition (labs, vitals, test values) and notify physicians using SBAR, including bedside nurse reports.
• Recognize limits of scope of practice, seek multidisciplinary collaboration, utilize appropriate resources, and follow chain of command.
