The role involves developing novel MRI paradigms, troubleshooting, and contributing to complex studies, with a schedule of full-time hours and potential shift variations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform MRI scans on human subjects with state-of-the-art MR technology.
• Screen prospective subjects to ensure MR eligibility and protocol compliance.
• Operate equipment for presenting stimuli to subjects in magnet and record physiological responses.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized MRI testing procedures in radiology-related areas.
• Review patient charts and physician notes to plan testing methods and position patients.
• Set up, operate, and maintain MRI equipment for tests and procedures.
• Inform patients about tests, read and interpret images, and record results.
• Coordinate processing of slides and film; instruct staff on testing techniques and equipment operation.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage related billing paperwork.
• Assist in research by analyzing and compiling patient information.
