Job summary

University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine is seeking a Full-time Specialized Laboratory Technician to support NIH-funded neuroimaging studies. The role centers on acquiring and managing high-quality MRI data, with training and potential co-authorship opportunities for presentations and publications.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum experience: 4 years in a related scientific field.
• Preferred: degree in psychology, neuroscience or related field; MRI certification and neuroimaging tools experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scanning sessions on a 3T Siemens Prisma with pediatric research participants.
• Perform quality control to detect motion and artifacts.
• Process and analyze imaging data.
• Manage secure data storage, transfer and organization per NIH and institutional requirements.
