Job summary

UC San Diego is seeking a motivated individual to assist the UTE Imaging Group in the Department of Radiology. The role includes data recording and entry, organizing regulatory correspondence, and recruiting subjects under HIPAA guidelines.

You will maintain enrollment logs, ensure data quality, and participate in research meetings. The incumbent will work under supervision, following UCSD HRPP guidelines and safety regulations, contributing to study records and ongoing projects in radiology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related field required.
• Experience in a radiology lab and ability to follow research protocols.
• Ability to recruit subjects and obtain informed consent under HIPAA.
• Proficient in data entry and basic math; comfortable with MS Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support clinical efforts in the UTE Imaging Group.
• Record and enter data; organize FDA, IRB, and NIH correspondence and study records.
• Recruit research subjects; schedule appointments; perform proper collection of informed consent.
• Create and maintain regulatory documents per UCSD HRPP guidelines and department policies.
• Maintain enrollment logs; perform data quality assurance on subject files.
• Participate in research meetings.
