Job summary

The Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Coordinator to support imaging-based research studies.

This role provides regulatory support across all phases of research, including preparation, drafting, review, and submission of regulatory documents, while ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human subjects protections and clinical research processes.
• Ability to prepare and support IRB submissions and regulatory documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills for multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serves as regulatory contact person for research studies involving human subjects.
• Develops informed consent documents and submits protocol materials to IRB and committees.
• Coordinates monitoring reviews and sponsor site visits.
• Maintains regulatory files and supports compliance audits.
• Mentors staff and contributes to new team processes and training.
