Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Senior MRI Technologist to perform advanced MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and uphold quality standards within a busy imaging department.

You will mentor staff, manage MRI equipment, support QA activities, and lead clinical operations to promote process improvements, while communicating clearly with patients and families.

A strong technical background and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Allied Health is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Preferred: ARRT MRI certification and MA Radiologic Technologist license.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex MRI scans for scheduled and emergency patients, maintaining safety and data integrity.
• Train and mentor staff, fellows, residents, and students in MRI techniques.
• Manage equipment, identify malfunctions, assist with inventory, and support quality assurance.
• Provide leadership support by overseeing clinical operations and promoting process improvements.
• Ensure a supportive environment for patients and families, explaining procedures clearly and responding empathetically.
