Position Overview

Full-Time Radiology Supervisor for MRI Support Services, BJC HealthCare System, Christian Hospital (St. Louis, MO). Day Shift: Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff, including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and professional development.
• Monitor and organize department resources to maximize productivity and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Serve as liaison between staff and physicians.
• Evaluate care and testing delivered, intervening appropriately to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budget development and ensure adherence to goals.
• Conduct team support/check‑ins and provide inpatient & outpatient rounding support.
• Schedule staff and monitor budget operations.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.R.) and/or MR.
• MR Certification.
• Associate’s Degree or higher level of education.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Prior leadership and supervisory experience (minimum 2 years).
• Registered MRI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
• Relevant medical/technical certifications (e.g., ARRT, IEMA).

Licenses & Certifications

• Cert/Lic in Area of Expertise.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
• IEMA – Illinois only (excl MRI).
