Job summary

The role requires ARRT MRI certification, CPR, and at least one year of hospital experience; you will guide patients, adhere to safety protocols, document in the EHR and PACS, and help maintain a safe imaging environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ARRT approved MRI program.
• Current CPR certification; ARRT MR registration.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as technologist in a surgical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and allergies, informs patients of study, safety, and contraindications.
• Maintains a safe environment for patient, staff, and visitors in the radiology/MRI suite.
• Provides patient instructions related to exam including breathing, communication, and post-study steps.
• Enters required patient information into the EHR; scans patients per protocol.
• Produces imaging in accordance with standards; completes notes in PACS.
