Radiologic Technologist, X-Ray
Completes daily diagnostic imaging studies within the modalities of Digital Radiography, and C-Arm to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Manager, Diagnostic Imaging
$24.50 to $38.59 (posted hourly range excludes overtime and bonuses which are not guaranteed)
Graduation from an ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology.
Current CPR certification; registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, R.T. (R)
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as technologist in a surgical or hospital setting with a strong working knowledge of Radiography. C-Arm experience a plus.
Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to fifty (50) pounds while administering care to patients, etc. Stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching daily in delivery of patient care, obtaining equipment, etc. Standing and walking more than five (5) hours per day in administering patient care in multiple rooms. Running occasionally in responding to patient care emergencies. Reaching, grasping, handling, and/or feeling five (5) or more hours per day in administering patient care, i.e. operating various radiologic equipment.
Environmental hazards such as chemicals, solvents, needles, needle containers, sharps, blood, body fluids, various infectious/communicable diseases, infectious medical waste, radiation, and/or radioactive materials and/or radioactive waste, proximity to moving mechanical parts. Protective clothing/equipment may be necessary.
