Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI and MRA procedures and uphold patient safety protocols while assisting Radiologists with diagnostic procedures. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring clear communication and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification required.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with MRI/MRA procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI and MRA procedures with patient safety protocols.
• Assist radiologists with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Greet patients, verify identity, and explain procedures.
• Place angiocatheters, and administer MRI contrast as directed.
• Operate MRI scanner and related equipment; monitor patient status.
• Conduct QA and maintain imaging quality; archive images as needed.
• Communicate equipment issues and image quality to the team.
• Maintain inventory and participate in safety and regulatory compliance.
