Job summary

University of Notre Dame’s Human Neuroimaging Center seeks an MRI Physicist to advance neuroimaging methods on the Siemens 3T Cima.X platform. You will develop pulse sequences, implement reconstruction techniques, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to enhance brain research.

The role involves hands-on MRI hardware/software work, protocol development, and QA/QC procedures, with opportunities to explore AI/deep learning approaches and experimental design in a three-year term.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Physics, Engineering, CS or related discipline.
• Proven ability to develop, modify, and test MR pulse sequences on a research MRI platform.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and test MR pulse sequences on the Siemens/Cima.X platform.
• Collaborate with faculty and research teams to design protocols and support study planning.
• Advance MRI technologies and integrate new methods into Center workflows and research.
