Job summary

Ideal candidates hold an MA/MS in a related field, with PhD preferred, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Ability to develop, modify, and test MR pulse sequences on a research MRI platform.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and test MR pulse sequences using the Siemens development environment.
• Implement and optimize acquisition strategies for neuroimaging applications.
• Conduct technical development aligned with Center research goals.
• Partner with faculty and research teams to design protocols and support study planning.
• Provide MR physics expertise to advance scientific outcomes.
• Contribute to methodological innovation within active research projects.
• Develop and integrate emerging MRI technologies including RF coils, field cameras, and reconstruction approaches.
• Scan phantoms and human subjects to validate new methods; perform QA/QC procedures; integrate into Center workflows.
