Job summary

Nudge is seeking an MR physicist to advance MRI sequences and reconstruction for ultrasound neuromodulation. You will work on state-of-the-art 3T Siemens scanners and own projects from concept to clinical deployment.

You will collaborate with MR physicists, engineers, and clinicians to translate cutting-edge imaging techniques into safe, effective neuroscience tools. This role emphasizes rigor, impact, and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years post-PhD/industry experience in MR physics.
• Proven track record building MRI sequences with a major vendor API.
• Experience with non-Cartesian MRI pulse sequences and reconstruction.
• Experience with parallel imaging, compressed sensing, and machine-learning.
• Degree in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
• Strong signal processing and inverse problem fundamentals.
• Demonstrated history of exceptional technical contribution.
• High integrity and professional judgement.

Responsibilities

• Develop MRI pulse sequences and reconstruction algorithms to improve ultrasound neuromodulation targeting.
• Build, validate, and deploy applications on 3 Tesla Siemens Cima.X scanners.
• Own applications from concept through prototyping to deployment in clinical trials.
• Collaborate with MR physicists, RF coil engineer, software, mechanical, and electrical engineers, and clinical operators.
