Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in central Alabama is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce quality diagnostic medical images. The ideal candidate must hold a High School diploma, be a graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology, and possess an active ARRT (R)(MR) registry as well as BLS certification. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work within rigid time constraints. This is a full-time position with a second shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Responsible to produce quality diagnostic medical images.
• Perform technical procedures applying the magnetic field for detecting pathology.
• Active ARRT (R)(MR) registry required, BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans on patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and assist radiologists.

Summary: The MRI Technologist shall be responsible to produce quality diagnostic medical images. This individual will perform duties involved with a variety of technical procedures applying the magnetic field for detecting pathology. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology. License / Certification: Active ARRT (R)(MR) registry required, BLS required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must possess reasoning ability and good judgment.
• Must have the ability to work within rigid time constraints.
• Must remain aware of patient condition at all times.
