This individual will perform duties involved with a variety of technical procedures applying the magnetic field for detecting pathology. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.**Education / Experience**: High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.**License / Certification**: Active ARRT (R)(MR) registry required, BLS required**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**: • Must possess reasoning ability and good judgment. • Must have the ability to work within rigid time constraints. • Must remain aware of patient condition at all times. • Must demonstrate effective communication skills.**Working Conditions/Physical Requirements**:Position requires sitting for 33% of the workday, standing 33% and mobility 34% of the workday. There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action. Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds. There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person. Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
