Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new product introductions and continuous improvement of existing lines. You will drive tooling, fixturing, and process design to ensure quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to advance manufacturing execution, support early design for manufacturability, and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• B.S./Associates Degree option with relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing engineering, process development, or tooling design.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and DFx principles familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development and introduction for new products and ensure readiness of supply chain.
• Design and validate tooling, fixturing, and equipment for complex mechanical systems.
• Drive productivity and quality improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and DFx methodologies.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, control plans, and validation protocols.
• Support early manufacturability assessments during product design phases.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to methods, tooling, equipment, and product design.
• Lead prototype builds and ensure alignment with design intent and production requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards (QMS, GMP, validation).
• Collaborate globally to standardize manufacturing solutions across sites.
