Job summary

Tooele Mountain West Medical Center in Tooele, UT is seeking an MRI Level 1 Personnel to support the MRI technologist and ensure safety for patients, staff, and visitors in the MRI suite. This role may include duties in radiology, including patient transport and clerical tasks, as schedule permits.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; prior medical field experience is a plus but not required. BLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety for all patients, staff and visitors in MRI suite Zone III and IV.
• Assist MRI technologist; report to MRI technologist or radiology supervisor.
• Assist with patient transport, flowthrough, reception and clerical duties when schedule permits.

Description

The MRI Level 1 Personnel role supports the MRI technologist with ensuring safety for all patients, staff and visitors who enter the MRI suite Zone III and IV. Responsibilities include specific knowledge of MRI safety concerns and emergency procedures, adherence to MRI safety practices ensuring patient and staff safety within the MRI suite at all times. As MRI patient schedule permits, other duties may be assigned within radiology department including but not limited to, patient transport, flowthrough, reception and clerical duties. Reports to MRI technologist or radiology supervisor. Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience within medical field preferred but not required.
