Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team in Georgia. The role focuses on safe, accurate MRI procedures, patient care, and collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining image quality while providing compassionate patient service. A minimum of 3 years MRI experience and ARRT MR/Radiography certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Science with ARRT Radiography and MR certifications.
• Minimum 3 years MRI experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Verifies proper clinician order for procedure.
• Reviews MRI images and ensures patient safety.
• Transports patients, positions them for exams, and maintains equipment.
• Maintains patient privacy and comfort throughout procedures.
• Demonstrates sterile technique and proper venipuncture.
• Performs preprocedural verification and Time Out process.
