Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Orlando invites applications for the Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Lead (MRI). This role combines oversight of MRI clinical operations with direct patient care duties, under Supervisory DRT (MRI/CT).

Preferred candidates will have MRI experience, ARRT certification, and a post-high school program in radiologic technology; leadership experience is desirable to supervise a team of DRTs at GS-10 level.

Qualifications

• Citizen of the United States (or eligible under VA rules).
• ARRT certification in radiologic technology (R).
• Education: 24-month post-high school radiologic technology program & JRCERT or accredited equivalent.
• English language proficiency for professional duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MRI clinical operations and lead Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists.
• Provide direct patient care and perform imaging exams as required.
• Supervise a group of DRTs at GS-9 level and below; ensure quality and safety.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintain accountability for workload and procedures.
