The Johns Hopkins Hospital offers a post-primary program in MRI for technologists interested in advancing their career in medical imaging.
Learn to perform diagnostic MRI of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies in classroom and clinical settings. Training covers MRI Anatomy, Protocols and Procedures, MRI Physics, MRI Safety and IV Certification. Clinical experiences involve inpatient, outpatient, critical care, trauma, pediatrics, and oncology populations. The program prepares candidates for advanced certification. Upon graduation, a two‑year work requirement at any Johns Hopkins location is required.
This program leverages the wide range of imaging resources at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Outpatient Center, and Johns Hopkins Imaging sites, offering state-of-the-art equipment and clinical experiences.

Full Time (40 hours) Day Shift 6:30 am‑3:00 pm (primary). Evening shifts required up to 4 weeks during the 6‑month program.

Minimum $34.62/hour — Maximum $57.19/hour. Compensation commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
