Job summary

Live Well Homecare Agency, LLC seeks an MRI Technologist to perform and assist with MRI procedures, ensuring accurate data acquisition for diagnosis under licensed practitioners. You will prepare, administer, and document medications following policy.

Responsibilities include identifying patients, applying imaging protocols, ensuring ALARA safety, evaluating image quality, and supporting learners while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT MR certification (or ARMRIT/NMTCB equivalents).
• Graduation from a radiologic technology specialty program.
• Related bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history confidentially.
• Apply appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and prioritize patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and transfer data appropriately.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, ensuring safety principles are applied.
• Assist with interventional procedures and perform imaging as prescribed.
• Select pulse sequences considering established protocols and data acquisition factors.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties.
