Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is looking for an Advanced Imaging Technologist in Spring Hill, TN. Candidates should be certified in ARRT and possess a minimum of one year of MRI experience. This is a full-time position with scheduled days from Monday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ARRT-Radiographer and ARDMS Registered.
• One year of MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily Quality Assurance (QA) and ACR QA procedures.
• Manage patient data by archiving and restoring exams.
• Inject contrast media and perform IV starts.
• Ensure correct patient positioning for MRI imaging.
• Efficiently operate MRI machines during procedures.
• Select correct imaging protocols per patient needs.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during exams.
• Oversee patient flow to minimize delays.
• Send images to PACS and manage patient data.
