Job summary

Radiology Partners is seeking an MRI Clinical Imaging Specialist to support onsite patient care under a registered MRI Technologist. You will serve as the MRI expert for internal and external customers, applying clinical knowledge to guide procedures and answer questions.

You will perform daily MRI QC/QA, maintain a safe MR environment, and execute IV access for contrast in line with OSHA guidelines, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Certified Texas Medical Assistant or EMT/Paramedic required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in MRI area preferred.
• Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all clinical personnel and patients.
• Ability to act independently on information to achieve optimal results.

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of a registered MRI Technologist to safely support onsite patient care and workflow.
• Acts as an MRI specialist for internal and external customers by providing guidance through clinical knowledge and experience.
• Performs and maintains daily check-ups and quality control on MRI scanners as required by ACR and other credentialing bodies.
• Maintains a safe MR environment with proper screening of all entering the MRI suite according to best practice standards.
• Performs IV insertion for contrast following OSHA guidelines.
