Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an Imaging Department leader to oversee daily operations, support and develop staff, and ensure safe, patient-centered care. The role includes hiring, training, performance development, and process improvements. Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at BUMC Tucson.

Must have MRI Tech experience. Your pay and benefits include health, financial, and security benefits.

Qualifications

Certificate or diploma from an approved radiologic technology program (MRI, CT, NM, mammography).
ARRT certification and state licensure as applicable.
BLS certification required.
Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in relevant patient populations.
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Provides or facilitates patient care and serves as a resource to staff.
Demonstrates effective communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
Collaborates with departments, vendors and teams to coordinate patient care.
Develops, implements and interprets departmental policies; delivers safe, cost-effective care.
Hires, trains, evaluates performance, counsels, and directs staff workflow.
Participates in setting departmental goals and improvement activities.
Manages patient care activities within budget and productivity guidelines.
Maintains clinical competencies and compliance with laws and safety policies.
Ensures efficient workflow and aligns procedures with policies.
