Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, typically achieved through 5+ years experience and supervisory experience in imaging or diagnostic specialty.
• Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or modality qualified licensure. Licensure by state regulatory agency required. Advanced certification in specialty (MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CAT Scan, Mammography). BLS certification required.
• Must have considerable experience with appropriate patient population in the area of responsibility. Demonstrated leadership, communication and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, conducts performance evaluations, and directs the workflow for the staff.
• Provides patient centered care and supports interdisciplinary care planning.
• Leads department budget planning and ensures goals are met annually.
• Ensures QA/QI, regulatory compliance, and data analysis to improve patient outcomes.
• Acts as a department leadership resource and collaborates with other departments to improve patient flow.
