Qualifications

• ARRT Imaging Assistant (MRI) competency within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assists MRI technologists with patient preparation, positioning, and transport.
• Assists patients with the completion of appropriate questionnaires/history forms.
• Assists with documentation, patient records, and data entry.
• Gathers information for upcoming MRI exams.
• Knowledge of MRI safety Zones and screening procedures, Required to complete ARRT Imaging assistant (MRI) clinical competency requirements within 12 months of hire.
• Resets and cleans MRI suites between patients, including coil changes and room preparation.
• Supports patient comfort by providing information and addressing concerns prior to scans.
