Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Development Engineer to support the development, qualification, and introduction of new MRI gradient coils. You will drive manufacturing processes, work instructions, and transfer activities across global sites, ensuring quality and cost objectives are met.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, strong writing skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional efforts during product introductions and ramp‑ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 6+ years in related manufacturing/engineering roles.
• Strong technical writing and documentation abilities.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience across design, manufacturing, and QA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering work instructions and in-process test procedures for MRI gradient coil manufacturing and assembly.
• Collaborate with gradient engineering team to translate design intent into repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Serve as the technical liaison between gradient coil design and manufacturing operations.
