Job summary

Block Imaging is seeking a Field Service Engineer Apprentice to gain hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing medical imaging equipment at customer sites. You will learn under seasoned engineers and complete structured training to build practical skills for a career in field service.

The program includes six months of training at Sunrise, FL, with a housing stipend and eventual relocation to the Philadelphia region.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, computer technology, or related field.
• Minimum of one year of hands-on mechanical and/or electrical experience.
• Equivalent military training or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in servicing, maintaining, and repairing medical imaging equipment at customer locations.
• Support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibrations, installations, and repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve electronic, mechanical, and network issues under guidance of senior engineers.
• Document service work accurately and help train end users on proper operation.
• Communicate updates and issues to management and team; identify improvements.
• Represent the company professionally on-site and maintain customer relationships.
• Drive and operate company vehicle as required; participate in ongoing learning.
