Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners seeks an MRI Manager to oversee the daily operation of the MRI Department, coordinating patient scheduling and daily work assignments, and serving as a resource for MRI Technologists.

The Manager drives changes in procedures, conducts staff training, monitors budget, and maintains accreditation. Responsibilities include interviewing input, managing weekly schedules, and coordinating maintenance to ensure optimal imaging services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Radiology Technology.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• ARRT certification and valid Connecticut State license
• MRI Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and triages procedures based on priority level and skills needed.
• Acts as the point of contact and resource for providers, staff, patients and their families.
• Updates imaging guidelines and disseminates protocol changes to staff.
• Develops and maintains schedules.
• Monitors equipment and coordinates repairs; Monitors supplies and equipment inventories.
• Trains staff members on new equipment and exams.
• Develops protocols and implements quality performance standards.
• Researches and implements new imaging techniques.
• Reviews and develops patient education material.
