Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club in Trophy Club, TX is hiring a Full Time Radiology Tech. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available. You will perform quality diagnostic imaging, assist in interventional procedures, and operate radiology equipment safely in a fast-paced medical center.

The role requires ARRT registration, Texas licensure, and BLS certification with prior radiology experience. A flexible schedule including on-call is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA–approved school of Radiologic Technology (AART).
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality diagnostic radiology procedures accurately and timely under radiologists and physicians.
• Assists radiologist with interventional procedures in department and OR.
• Maintains sterile technique and aseptic practices.
• Operates radiology equipment safely and follows radiation safety protocols.
• Proficient with routine radiology exams using X-rays and Fluoroscopy, C-arm, O-arm & CT.
• Handles portable exams and operates C-Arm in OR.
• Maintains flexible schedule and participates in after-hours on-call as needed.

Radiology Tech at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Trophy Club:

• Under the direction of radiologists and specialized physicians performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assists radiologist and specialized physicians with interventional procedures performed within the department and OR.
• Practices proper aseptic technique within the sterile field.
• Operates Radiology equipment safely and practices proper radiation safety techniques at all times, prints films and processes images via PACS and CR.
• Must be proficient in performing routine diagnostic radiology exams using X-Rays and Fluoroscopy, C-arm, O-arm & CT.
• Must be proficient with routine portable exams and the safe operation of C-Arm equipment within the Operating room.
• Requires flexible schedule and ability to take department call after hours, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Education

• High school graduate or equivalent

Licensure/Certification

Required Experience

• Two to five years' experience specific in Routine imaging and operating room
